Shammie is lively and happy and he really loves petting and back scratches. He will need kind, positive obedience training, especially for loose lead walking. We think Shammie may be housetrained. He came into the shelter on June 27.

Hanna has been evaluated with the SAFER™ test, and is suitable for adoption. The evaluators said:

"Hannah is a real sweetie! She loves attention and cuddling. She even walks nicely on a leash."

Hannah is very much on the Bulldog side of her Pit Bull Terrier breed. She's very sweet and loving, and she's easygoing and she walks nicely on lead. She's also a cheerful girl and yes, she does give little snorts of pleasure like many Bulldogs. We think Hannah may be housetrained. She came into the shelter on June 28.

Suri has been evaluated with the SAFER™ test and is suitable for adoption. The evaluators said:

"Suri is a bundle of energy, and she will need some work on appropriate play and manners. She is very motivated to work for food and to play with toys, so she would probably learn faster than you could teach her! With enough daily exercise and an owner who can be her leader, Suri should become the true canine she is meant to be."

Suri is a pleasant, friendly girl. She loves to stand up and give kisses. Suri has had some training – she knows "sit," but she needs more training (using positive methods only) on loose lead walking. Suri is intelligent and perceptive, so she will be a pleasure to train. Suri came into the shelter on June 23.
