Spokane, WA - 12/02/08 - Ferris Theatre Arts is proud to host former Ferris student and Thesperado alum, Matt Slater and his improv partner Robin Corsburg, as they present "Under Pressure," December 4th at 7pm in the Paul G. Bruggemeier Hall at Ferris High School. Tickets are $6.
"Under Pressure: And Ready For Anything," is a dynamic duo made from one part Matt Slater and one part Robin Corsberg. This pair of improvisers astounds audiences with real-life happenings coming straight from audience suggestions and played out in front of their very eyes. Twisting information and including the audience in the show, "Under Pressure," stepping across all kinds of barriers and ready for anything, makes crowds leave in hysterics with their unkempt comedy styles. From stand-up to improv and everything in between, you'll leave crying... for a little bit more!
Slater and Corsburg will be holding a special workshop on improvisational acting for theatre and improv students December 3rd at 2:45 at Ferris High School and will feature Ferris' Thesperados in their show the next evening. Slater and Corsburg have been coached by the finest talent in the improv business including ABC's "Whose Line is it Anyway?" veterans Ryan Stiles and Greg Proops. Corsburg also opened for the TV hit as well.
It is an exciting event sure to entertain and delight. For more information, contact Mary Cooper at marycoo@spokaneschools.org or 509-354-6076. Hope to see you there!
